MENTAL HEALTH LITIGATION
SARIA & SARIA represents client under the jurisdiction of the California Department of Mental Health who are involuntarily commited to one of the state hospitals. These clients have been determined to be either Mentally Disordered Offenders, Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity, Incompetent or Sexually Violent Offenders. Representation may include initial trial proceedings, annual reviews or extension proceedings.
WRITS & APPEALS
SARIA & SARIA has appeared before the appellate courts in both writ proceedings and direct appeals. Client representation has also included writ proceedings before the Superior Courts when extraordinary relief is appropriate.
ADMINISTRATIVE LAW
